I do wash my crochet dish cloths in the wash with my dish towels. However, due to the nature of the dishcloths, it is important to rinse them well after each use otherwise food particles can get in the weave and cause it to mold. 100% cotton yarn will shrink in the wash, so if you want your cloths to be bigger, just add a few more chains to the foundation chain.
