In less than a week - four days to be exact, our family will begin to arrive. I have soooo much to do - will I get it all done??
Here is my list for this week:
1. Finish the Christmas decorating.
2. Freshen bed linens.
3. Fix the plumbing in three bathrooms.
4. Clean the house extra well.
5. Finish painting the mud room, butler’s pantry, and kitchen.
6. Prepare enough homemade cheese crackers, vegetarian sausage balls, date balls, snowball cookies, make ahead biscuits, cheese spreads, cake, pies, and oatmeal lace cookies to feed 25 over the course of a week.
7. Plan the menus to feed as many two - three times a day for a week.
8. Sew curtains for my kitchen.
9. Buy new furtniture for the family room and have it delivered by Friday.
10. Purchase or make three sets of curtains for the same room to go with the new furniture.
11. Sew a skirt for my downstairs bathroom sink and a matching valance for the little window in there.
12. Wrap all the presents.
13. Send out 40 Christmas cards.
Well, if you don’t see me for a few days - you’ll know why!!
