Crafty Happiness

As I mentioned yesterday, I don’t get to go to craft/fabric stores very often. So, I was elated when my husband took me to Knoxville, TN last week to have a look at Joann’s. I knew I couldn’t spend a lot of money and there was so much I would have loved to come home with.

After two hours of oohing over fabrics and ahhing over scrapbooking goodies, I ended up purchasing the fabrics (1/2 yard of each) to make my girls church totes, two beautiful wool-ease yarns (for who knows what right now) and a new tote for my ScrapMakers Club meetings since I didn’t have a good way to bring all my supplies with me to the meetings. I was thrilled over that and I know my husband sacrafices a great deal so that I can have pretty things. I did use my 40% off coupon so the bag was only about $16.00, I think.

I wanted more yarn, but couldn’t justify the splurge without a specific project in mind. I hope to go to Wal-Mart soon and purchase some knitting needles and begin learning how to knit.
