Melissa Ringstaff is a homemaker, a wife, a mom, a writer, and the Founding Director of A Virtuous Woman, a ministry for women based on the Scriptures of Proverbs 31. She enjoyes teaching women how to get their homes in order and add peace and joy to their homes. The Vintage Homemaker is from Melissa's heart and very much about who she is at home.
Melissa is the proud mother of five sweet children, a step-mom to 4 wonderful "children" who are all grown up now, and Grandarlin' to 11 (so far) grand children. She is married to the love of her life, Mykal, who is a pastor in their community. Melissa lives in the beautiful Appalachian mountains of Harlan, Kentucky.
In 2003 our family moved to Harlan, KY. My husband's family comes from these mountains. Our youngest daughter, Laura, was born at our home in Harlan. This place has a rich history and many stories to tell. I thought you might enjoy learning more about this amazing place.
My grandaughters, Abby and Tierra left at about 6 am to go back home to Georgia. We had a wonderful time with them here.
